Expected Reopening: July 6th

The Charleston Habitat ReStore is expected to reopen on Monday, July 6th.
The Teays Valley Habitat ReStore boutique is expected to reopen on Tuesday, July 7th.
Both locations will begin accepting donations on their respective reopening dates.

The Habitat ReStore provides funding to Habitat for Humanity allowing Habitat to partner with local homebuyers to help them build their houses. Our operations have changed, our mission remains. Now more than ever, we are seeing the importance of home.  Due to the precautions associated with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our Habitat ReStore has been closed since late March. However, reopening our ReStore locations is the first step to resuming full operations.

We have a few new processes in place and some areas of the ReStore will look a little different to help keep our customers, donors, and staff safe during this time. We will have to limit customers in the ReStore, which we understand may be frustrating - but please have patience with us. Aisles have been expanded and the store has been cleaned and disinfected.  ReStore staff will be screened prior to entering the facility for their safety and yours.

Our stores are now cash and carry. We cannot hold any merchandise. There is a new loading zone for customers to easily load their purchases.

Our administrative office in Charleston is open by appointment only.

We are, of course, closely watching the Governor's updates, local public health agency updates, and the public's response. Habitat will modify our reopening response as appropriate as the situation may change.
