Help build a house by cleaning out yours
As you do your spring cleaning, the staff and volunteers of the ReStore ask you to remember Habitat for Humanity by donating your used and surplus building material and furniture to the ReStore. The ReStore will re-sell your donated items and use the proceeds to fund the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes in Kanawha and Putnam Counties.
The ReStore accepts all home and office furnishings, working appliances, and home decorations. In addition, the ReStore accepts all usable building materials including wood, electrical and plumbing items, flooring, and all bathroom fixtures. You can even donate your leftover latex paint! The ReStore can NOT accept electronics, unmarked containers, mattresses and box springs, and hazardous materials including oil-based paint. A list of accepted donations is available at here.
